Nursing Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Practical Nurses (LVNs)  provide a broad range of services based on your medical needs. Examples include:  medication instruction and/or supervision, nutrition management, wound or ostomy care, and  education on medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiac disease, pulmonary  disease, arthritis and skin care. Rehabilitation Services Our physical therapists and occupational therapists provide therapeutic treatments to maximize independence. Physical Therapists (PTs) focus on exercise to restore mobility,  reduce pain and maximize function. Occupational Therapists (OTs) focus on activities of daily living,  energy conservation, endurance and equipment needs. Medical Social Services Medical Social Workers (MSWs) provide assessment and counseling  directed toward improving coping skills, addressing depression or anxiety and  reducing stress. Our social workers also provide information on community  resources and assist patients and families in long term care planning.
